Introduction
AutomotiveNET.eu is a joint initiative of the regional development agencies and automotive
cluster organisations in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine; Netherlands: NV Industriebank LIOF and Automotive Technology Centre; Belgium: POM Limburg, Flanders DRIVE and the Automotive Cluster of Wallonia Brussels Germany: AGIT mbH and car e.V., supported by aic and fka mbH.
The major aim of AutomotiveNET.eu is to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the Meuse-
Rhine region through multinational R&D projects. To achieve this aim, technology workshops
were conducted, each covering a specific field of technology, e.g. chassis, materials, electronics
or engine and drivetrain technologies. Within these workshops various project ideas were
developed, have been driven forward by dedicated cluster members and are currently looking
for further project partners to join their teams.
During the afternoon session of this annual event, selected project leads are presented and
discussed by the respective lead partners, providing information on content, potential and
missing competencies. It is the chance for companies to learn more about the project and
to join the project team as additional partner.
